Gus found himself sitting by himself at the edge of the road on a red-hot summer’s day. The sun was high in the sky and he could feel the it pounding down upon him. “It’s so hot!” he thought. “Why am I wearing my winter coat?” He looked around, and noticed that the familiar buildings looked different to him. ”This is so odd…” he thought to himself.
Suddenly an overwhelming feeling ran through his body, from his head to his toes, a feeling of excitement mixed with anticipation. “Now I understand! I’m dreaming! This is unbelievable. I am awake inside my dream! And quick as a wink, he woke up… alone in his bedroom once more, no longer in a Polka Band.
